Privacy notice

Your information deserves care. This notice explains how Capitiply (Pty) Ltd (Capitiply, we or us) handles personal information connected with this website and initial enquiries.

Who is responsible

Capitiply (Pty) Ltd is the responsible party for the enquiry information it receives. Our contact address is Woodmead North Office Park Rd, Midrand, 2090, South Africa. Send privacy requests to info@capitiply.com or call 011 593 3138. Please mark correspondence “Privacy request”.

Information and purposes

  • Information you provide: name, company or organisation, email, area of interest, business stage, goals and time horizon. Phone and sector are optional. We use this to assess and answer your request, arrange a conversation and keep relevant correspondence.
  • Technical information: hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, request times, browser information and security events to deliver the website, maintain availability and prevent abuse.
  • Device preferences: a local entry remembers acknowledgement of the cookie notice for 180 days. See our cookie policy.

Providing enquiry information is voluntary; no law requires you to submit this wizard. Required fields are needed to complete that route. Without sufficient context or contact details we may be unable to respond. You may telephone us instead. Do not submit identity documents, bank details, health information or confidential deal documents here. This business website is not directed at children.

How the wizard works

Answers remain in the open page and are not saved as a browser draft. Choosing “Send enquiry” submits your details to our contact service hosted by Xneelo, which verifies the request and sends the enquiry to Capitiply by email.

We show success when the mail service accepts your enquiry for delivery; this does not guarantee arrival in the inbox. Further client onboarding, due diligence or transaction processing requires its own appropriate notices and engagement terms.

Lawful processing and marketing

We process correspondence to take steps at your request towards a possible engagement and for the legitimate interests of answering business enquiries and securing the service, where permitted by POPIA. Legal obligations may require retention or disclosure. Where consent is the basis, you can withdraw it for future processing without affecting earlier lawful processing. An enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing list. We do not sell enquiry details or use this website for advertising profiling or automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Recipients and international processing

Relevant Capitiply personnel and service providers involved in hosting, email, IT support and enquiry delivery may process information for those purposes. Xneelo provides our website and contact-form hosting, domain and email services. Cloudflare provides Turnstile verification. Providers may process technical data or communications outside South Africa. A cross-border transfer must have an applicable safeguard or other lawful basis under section 72 of POPIA. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry.

Information may also be disclosed when lawfully required by a regulator or court, or as reasonably necessary for legal claims. An initial enquiry is not permission to circulate your details or documents to prospective investors or acquisition targets.

Human verification

Cloudflare Turnstile checks technical browser and network signals at the final review step to help prevent automated submissions. Enquiry answers are not included in the verification request. Read Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy notice for its processing details. Our contact service also limits repeated requests using private counters with keyed, hashed IP identifiers. These counters do not contain enquiry answers or raw IP addresses.

Retention and security

Enquiry records should be kept only for as long as needed to respond, manage a resulting relationship, meet applicable record-keeping obligations or resolve legal claims. The appropriate period depends on those purposes; it is not indefinite by default. Once no lawful retention purpose remains, records must be deleted, destroyed or de-identified. Ask us about retention or deletion of your specific correspondence.

The website uses HTTPS and limits collection to enquiry details. Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are required for information in our control, including authorised access and suitable provider arrangements. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. A qualifying security compromise must be notified to the Information Regulator and affected people as required by POPIA.

Your rights and complaints

Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether we hold your information, request access or correction, request deletion of information no longer lawfully retained, object to processing on applicable grounds, or withdraw consent where relevant. We may need proportionate identity verification before disclosing or changing records. A refusal or limitation must have a lawful reason; statutory fees may apply to some access requests.

Contact us using the details above. You may also complain directly to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at POPIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za or 010 023 5200. You do not need our permission to complain.

Updates

We will revise this notice when relevant processing changes. The date above identifies this version; a change does not remove rights that already apply to your information.
